London ExPo Anime Convention

Hmm so I had to wake up early (Well earlier than usual) because Me and Joe were gonna go Anime Convention @ The London ExCel. It was a faster journey to get there than expected, just one stop on The Tube from North Greenwich to Canning town, then a direct DLR ride to the place.

Once we got there, well I was treated to watching about a gazillion Naruto Cosplayers singing along to 'Haruka Kanata'. Amusing, really. You knoally easy to mix hate with pity. Did I hate them for being such wannabes, especially as they werw, it's ree all white? Or did I pity them? I questioned myself.

Anyway, enough of my ramblings, when we entered there was a HUGE QUEUE for tickets! Thankfully, his Mum's Boyfriend (Nice guy, Bad haircut) offered to line up for them, and all was well. I got some sweet pictures of some Anime/Game characters during the wait.

When we got in, it was a kind of thing you'd see on Lost, 'cause our initial response was, '...Where first?'. Thank god Sam is really fast to act, and led us straight away to different areas of the place. During this I got some awesome pictures with cosplayers (Refer to the one with Stormtroopers and Fox) and we got to see some Uber-Geeks play an official Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Tournament.

After much browsing, and calming Joe down after he had a Rabies Attack at the sight of a Pocky Stall, we finally left and had a Panini, where I saw Jason from 'Friday the 13th'. I was gonna ask him for a picture, but he looks so scary, I couldn't bring myself to it.

We went out the door, and BAM! Cosplayers, Cosplayers, and MORE COSPLAYERS! Heaven on Earth for getting Pictures taken. There was a girl dressed up as a World of Warcraft Night Elf Druid, but she looked so sad. There was a huge frown on her face and she looked real upset. But I did manage to get a picture of her, and when I saw her upclose, she wasn't really sad, it was just that her eyebrows were shaped to point downwards, and that was made her look really upset. We saw the whole Kingdom Hearts cast have a fight, which was quite amusing. Got some more pictures with cosplayers, noticably Lulu from Final Fantasy X.

Several pictures later, we left, and I thought to myself, 'That was a nice day.'
